The family are researching the war record of
Joe Chamberlain who served in the Raiding Forces from 1940. He made a written record of his service in 1997 which we have just uncovered. This website is a wonderful find!
I've just found out that my mother's cousin was attached to the RSR.
Gunner Nelson David Richardson was killed on 29th July 1944 aged 24. Service no 6344507
Other than that, we know little about him. His younger brother is 85 and may have some photos etc. I will submit anything I find. Fascinating website. Thank you.

Congratulations on developing the website for this obscure Allied Special Forces unit of WWII. It will be most interesting to see the information that develops over the coming years. I'll be happy to contribute where I can.
Hi Marco,
This is a great site - well done.
My Grandfather served in 10 Troop and took part in around 10 operations.
